Cue

is an evening length dance theater work that places the audience inside a rehearsal, where four performers follow a mysteriously prescribed script. They repeat, forget, and question their lines and actions as they test when to lead or follow, and when to continue or pause.

Cue was shown as a work-in-progress at Creature Space and Dixon Place in New York, and premiered as a full length work on Jan 22-24th at Odyssey Theater’s 2026 Dance Festival in Los Angeles. It was most recently shown at Green Lung Studio in New York for three shows, Feb 5-7th.

Performers:

Audrey Allen

Joey Weaver

Madison McGain

Megan Siepka

Reviews!

“More than anything, Cue felt like a breath of fresh air…I left feeling lighter. Not because the work ignored reality, but because it reminded me that self-awareness, play, and deep commitment can coexist.” - Clara Kennedy

“…uncomfortably accurate and wildly entertaining… Cue reads like a love letter and a gentle critique of dance culture.”

“...dramaturgically complex…humorous mayhem…a message of persistence, trust, and accountability.” -  LA Dance Chronicle

“...masterful world-building that gets more and more complicated as the show (and performers’ indecision) continues.”
